A small stone-built house in an elevated and commanding position with superb views over the lake below. One of a group of houses reached by a short walk along a narrow cobbled track.
Ground floor: Small barbecue patio; double bedroom ensuite shower/w.c.
First floor: Double bedroom with balcony, shower/w.c.
Second floor: Living/dining room/kitchenette with balcony, fire place, and satellite television. (Narrow spiral staircase is not suitable for the elderly or toddlers.)

Visiting the village of Covide, you can stay at Casa da Venda, an accommodation made of stone, typical of the region. In the terrace you find a granary, known as “canastro”, place for drying corn cobs.
Covide is about 4 km from the Peneda-Gerês National Park, the Vilarinho das Furnas Dam, the Museum Centre of Campo do Gerês and the Albergaria Forest, also offering local crafts and products, not to mention all the beautiful surroundings.1 review
