The Casa Lata - Agroturismo is located on a Typically Minhota Farm of around 4 hectares, situated in Carrazedo, Amares, which is dedicated to producing excellent Vinho Verde.
The building has a granite facade with small typical windows, which contrast with the wide and sunny balconies facing south.
The lush foliage surrounding the house, where you can find everything from centuries-old olive trees to the typical orange trees of the region, provides the coolness of the shadows and the pleasure of the sweet aromas and flavours of its fruits. Vineyards of golden grape clusters stretch out on the horizon and are the source of the precious nectar, the Vinho Verde, the house\'s ex libris.
Casa Lata offers 10 double rooms (ground floor or 1st floor double rooms and upper rooms with pool view and tea/coffee facilities) and 4 twin rooms (2 single beds with pool view) with a view of the pool or orange grove. All rooms have private bathrooms (with shower or bath) and are equipped with TV and internet.
It has a shared outdoor pool, a games room, living and dining rooms, where the furniture and decor respect the ambience of bygone eras.
Guests can participate in agricultural activities such as harvesting and wine production. They can also enjoy a wine tasting session.
Its location is excellent for those who want to explore Minho and the Peneda Gerês National Park, which is a short distance away.

Quinta Vale do Homem of secular origin man used to be a farm, consisting of the Mother House, the main residence, the Casa da Eira, and several fields where cereals were grown, like corn and rye, and a great extension of vines. The restoration has been carefully carried out in order to provide the comforts of today and all areas were decorated with old agriculture working instruments and keeping the original facade. A few kilometers away from Gerês, between the valleys of the Rivers Homem and Cávado, is situaded the village of Rendufe, next to the Santo André Monastery, one of the most enjoyable of the Amares Municipality, Its further commodities include 2 swimming pools, a interior warmed one and the other exterior, Turkish baths, picnic areas, gym, tennis court, billiard, ping pong table, game room, library, children’s park and a lovely scenic garden. There is also the possibility of renting bikes.
The Bedrooms of Quinta Vale do Homem are situated in 2 different buildings and have dark wood furniture. All bedrooms either have a double bed or two single beds, flat screen tv with satellite channels, DVD Player and Minibar. The bathrooms are modern, private and include personal hygiene products and hair dryer. Breakfast is included.
